PEDI REDI PLUS

What has changed in Pedi Redi Plus?
State boards are requiring that disinfecting of pedicure units be done between pedicures and at the end of the day with an EPA registered product. Pedi Redi Plus has contained Chloramine-T as a sanitizer for the skin and water but it is not EPA registered, therefore we have removed it from the product formula. Please note that Chloramine-T was a safe and effective ingredient, it was only removed from the product due to EPA and State Board regulations.

We also had a growing concern that the use of many different types of sanitizers and disinfectants when combined in a spa may have negative effects on the pedicure equipment and cause skin iritation. Make sure to closely follow the label directions on all sanitizers and disinfectants as to skin and surface contact and chemical reactivity.

Pedi Redi Plus still looks the same in the water and in the jar, and as an added benefit of removing the sanitizer; our dyes will last longer keeping the color more vivid. The fragrances are also much more appealing with this change.

Because of the formula change our product is now denser. The weights of our jars have changed to 13oz., 28oz., and 65oz. and the largest size is now 27 lbs. Pedi Redi Plus is now more economical to use than ever!

Can I use Pedi Redi in all pedicure equipment?

How much product do I use?
• In a whirlpool spa of 5-6 gallons, use 2/3 of a scoop
• In a small footbath of 1-2 gallons, use 1/3 of a scoop

How does this product compare to other product lines?
We formulated an all-in-one product especially for whirlpool pedicure spas. It won't foam over, clog or harm your pump/jets or lining. Pedi Redi will do it all and reduce your clean up time. With Pedi Redi, you will also notice that your scrubbing time will be reduced and do the job of completely softening skin and calluses.

What products are unnecessary if I use Pedi-Redi Plus?
Cuticle creams, sloughing lotions, and any other products for softening the skin.

Is there a container of Pedi-Redi larger than 65oz. available?
Yes, we have a 27 Lb. container with a re-closable lid. We also ship our products in bulk.

Are there other products like or similar to Pedi-Redi Plus?
Yes, there are a few. We have evaluated them all and, even though they may have the same or similar ingredient lists, the formulas are different. We also believe that some do not use the same quality ingredients as we do. Also, some of the amounts needed per application are more than we require, therefore it is not as economical as it seems to be.

Does Pedi-Redi staing pedicure equipment?
The one staining issue we have seen is the ring stain ( waterline) . This is caused because of hard water deposits (lime and calcium mostly). To effectively soften the water,  the minerals have to be displaced in the water. Therefore they can stick to the tub at the water line. The dye in PEDI REDI sticks to the mineral deposits and looks like a stain on the tub material. Any store purchased Lime/Calcium remover will solve this problem when used regularly.

SATIN-IZE

Has Satin-ize Changed?
Yes, as with the Pedi Redi Plus, we have removed the sanitizer Chloramine-T. This product no longer has a sanitizer due to EPA and State Board regulations. The soaking effect of the tablets remains in effect creating a superior water manicure. The water tablets also have a much longer shelf life now.

What does Satin-ize do?
Satin-ize is a specially formulated effervescent tablet that sanitizes the fingers and nails. It softens cuticles and whitens natural nails. While it fizzes and foams, it creates a silky feel with a fresh fragrance.

What else do I need to add to my manicure dish?
Nothing.

I like to do a mini manicure on my acrylic clients before fills. Is Satin-ize safe to use?
Yes

Can I use Satin-ize tablets for pedicures?
No, Satin-ize is only formulated for use in 6 to 8 ounces of water.

How does Satin-ize compare with similar effervescent products?
Satin-ize does not contain any oils or leave residue on the nails.
